Theme: Fortunato Post Appearance on Homepage

I am using the fortunato theme, and I would like to get the featured image of the posts to appear with the posts on the homepage reel of recent posts. Can someone advise me on how to do this?

I’d also like to include an ‘other articles’ or ‘related articles’ on post specific pages, below a full post I;d like to have thumbnail images and titles of related articles or other top articles. Is there a plugin for this?
