Post and Pages Wont Publish

  • I upgraded my version of WP thinking it would fix my problem, but it did not. When I hit the publish or save buttons, absolutely <b>nothing</b> happens – I am taken to a completely blank page, no error message or antyhing, and when I check the site it is not published. The post just goes to the drafts folder. I have been dealing with this problem for 3 days now and can’t seem to figure it out. I added some code for arrays (?) that I snipped from the forum. This allowed me to save changes, but I still can’t publish. Could anyone help me?

    That is the same issue I have! Seems pretty odd to me now…
    I upgraded to the latest WordPress now, but the problem still persists, cannot update my posts, just the blank page appears.

    At first I thought it’s cookies, so I deleted them, but it didn’t help, tried the different browsers as well, I use Firefox, but also tried Safari and Explorer. I haven’t changed anything and there was no problem like this before. I used to easily do any updates by pressing “SAVE” button.

    Any ideas?! I’m stuck….

    Has anyone resolved their issue with publishing posts? Both my blogs had a glitch — I deavtivated one of the plugins (Bas), and it cleared the front page problem, and I can post on the one blog, but the more important blog is still not publishing my posts. I have not done anything differently, but if anyone has resolved the issue, let me knoww — I keep trying different things.

    Don’t try erasing the last post — it sometimes helps me when things get glitchy, but not this time…

    I was hoping I will get some answers here, but no I haven’t find the solution yet. Will be watching this thread in case we do get a reply…

    I am having the same issue as you are — I deactivated my plugins — even erased a couple of them, but I have no idea what do to, either. We’re in the same boat. If you get an answer, let me know.

    I did tried the plugins, but with no success, I tried posting as a different users, I even created a new admin and transferred the posts, but not working.

    My second blog (also on wordpress) which is on the same server is working fine, but I’m not sure if they use the same MySQL server, and actually I begin to think it has to do something with the database. Probably on the hosting side, maybe the hosting staff updated something and now the wordpress doesn’t like it. I found that many of us are facing the same problem now, but nobody found the solution yet. This is so frustrating, I cannot do anything now.

    I haven’t find the solution, but same way the problem appeared on my blog, it disappeared now. It’s all fine, I can post and edit now. But something happened with my hosting just before it started to work again, the servers went down and after a few minutes when they solved the problem and my sites became available online again, it was all working. So my guess is, that must have something to do with the MySQL configuration of your hosting provider, you might wanna ask them if they changed anything lately.

    I am having the same problem again. last time I could not publish for three days, and then it was fine.
    Any suggestions out there?

    I have a similar problem. This Forum should allow advertising, then one would get help much quicker. When people are allowed to advertise, they are motivated to support, because it gives them exposure.
