post and page title dont change

hello and Namaste
i recently switched to SeoPress from RankMath
im having an issue
i have changed the title of all my pages, posts and packages
but when i go to edit few things to these pages i see the default title – that is my title and sitename
i have already excluded sitename from all post, pages, packages in the setting
i do the title edit update, refresh or clear cache again the title will be back to default until i hit space button
same with my homepage — my edited home page title is
“Nepal Trekking : Trekking and Climbing in Nepal” —- i have updated several times rewriting the same title
but when i get back to the page again the title will be back to my sitename as just “Nepal Pyramids”
have i missed something
