Not sure what that’s about, it sounds like his blog was simply hacked or just has some plugin issues. That has nothing to do with the 3.3.2 upgrade at all.

Before upgrading to any version, you should always make a full backup of your files and database, as well as know how to restore them.

If you are concerned about it then with that backup kept somewhere safe, deactivate all of your plugins, switch to the Twenty Eleven theme and then do the upgrade.

If something goes wrong you’ll have your safety net in place and can restore the backup.

Just an addendum to this; applied the 3.3.2 update without any issues.

no problems here, two large live sites with custom themes & lots of plugin and custom code upgraded in a couple seconds, everything works.

I had no issues either (so far). As instructed, first I deactivated all plugins, then updated and reactivated plugins one by one

I have an issue with the 3.3.2 upgrade on multiple Word Press sites. This is an example of one of them.

I have run the health check plug in and the server is fine:
“Excellent: Your server is running PHP version 5.2.14 and MySQL version 5.1.49 which will be great for WordPress 3.2 onward.”

Edit page screen only displays HTML edit, no Visual

On live page when logged in, top bar does not appear and various text shows up on the bottom.

I have reviewed various threads with no luck. I have turned off all of the plugins, cleared the cache, tried different browers, reinstalled 3.3.2 multiple times, tried to upload a fresh copy of wp-admin and wp-includes, altered the wp-config file (changed back when it did not work), check link to Tinymce file, etc…
