Possible w/WooCommerce Memberships to restrict payment options?

    I have reviewed the WooCommerce Memberships plugin – the one thing I am looking for which I cannot seem to find is the ability to change payment options or better said restrict certain options based on membership.

    This will be for the same products.

    To clarify, I need “Membership A” level members to be able to pay with all of the normal options, but need to pay at checkout to process.

    And I need “Membership B” level members to have an additional option to be invoiced, so they do not have to pay at checkout. But I want to restrict that invoice option from “Membership A” level members, only for “B” members.

    I would recommend taking a look at using Conditional Shipping & Payments to restrict payment gateways based on Membership. For example, if I didn’t want PayPal to show for my Gold Membership plan, I could configure it like this:

    Thanks @laceyrod – that seems logical – ok, I just want to confirm-

    If I want member A to only pay by regular gateways (stripe, paypal, etc) I would leave as normal, but if I want member B to be invoiced, then I could exclude every other regular gateway, just leaving invoice option – does this sound correct?

    Lastly, what additional plugin would I need besides this conditional shipping and payments to make this work – is a membership plugin necessary like woocommerce memberships?

    Hi @mike8712 –

    For member A – you have to exclude invoice option and leave the other payment gateways as it is unless you want to give them the option to send invoice as well.

    For member B – your logic is correct.

    Yes you will need WooCommerce Memberships extension to create memberships for your site as the Conditional Shipping & Payments only restricts the shipping and payment methods.

    Thanks – this looks promising. I was hoping there was a limited trial where I could test this without actually buying both plugins first. Is this possible?
