Possible to skip importing users?

The users are imported only with the Premium version, not with the free version.
Importing the users is not the longest part of the import. And you can safely delete them after the import. It will reassign their posts to the default user.

Thanks for the advice. I do like the fact that WP would reassign this to the default user which I assume is the first user created?

But it may be a moot point. Since, even though I am not the author of every post, I am the one who created each post.

On the other hand, I have 75,000 members. Is there a quick way to delete these through WP? If I simply delete the entries in the db, it won’t reassign the post (or anything else for that matter) to the default user. Even if you point me in the direction of a good plugin, that would be helpful.

You can reassign the posts directly in the database too, using a SQL request.
If you want to skip them before running the import, you can make a copy of the Joomla database, delete the users and reassign the Joomla posts on this copy using SQL?requests, and do the import from this copy instead of the real database.
