Possible to shut down the blog main page for 5 min?

i wonder if there is a way to shot down the blogs main page into a maintain mode somehow? so that when a visitor comes to my blog they will only see a custom message that the site will be online in 5 min again. i should still be able to browser in the blogs settings and plugins etc.
