Possible to set post type by link?

I know you can set the post_type automatically via a link like this:
url/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=mycustomposttype

Can you do something similar to auto set the post format? I’d like to create a link that would set that automatically but I don’t want to change my default format. It would just make for 1 less click. If I could set the tag at the same time that would be even better but I’ll start here.
