• Theres something wrong with my wordpress setup that uses to much CPU and resources. Are there any plugin or anyway possible to check whats causing this? i have deactivated most of the plugins now that can be activated, but to check the rest will take some more time (with editing the theme template) so i preferred not deactivate those ??

My site has about 300.000 views / day and this is the message i got from the server admin:

Nope, apache is fine. Its a very basic setup.

Apache is fine for high-traffic websites, we offload images and static to lighttpd – only php and js files are served by apache.

Something in your wordpress setup is causing huge amounts of cpu, we need to find out what.

These alone are consuming all the cpu cycles on the server !
