Is is possible to disable Plugin Updates from showing on the Wordfence Dashboard Widget?

  • Hey @biotrace,

You can disable the available updates in Wordfence > All Options > Dashboard Notification Options > Updates Needed (Plugin, Theme, or Core). However, this will disable all update notifications including plugins, themes, and WordPress Core updates.

Please let me know if this helps.

    Thanks,

Hello – Deselecting that option does not remove plugin update notices from the WordPress Dashboard widget.

The WordPress dashboard widget has “Top 5 blocked IPs” – “Top 5 countries blocked” – “Failed Login Attempts”…. Then a long list of plugins for updating.

How can we remove the “Updates needed” from the Dashboard Widget?

    Hey @biotrace,

I spoke with the developer about this, and it seems I misunderstood where it adjusts the notifications. It adjusts the notifications in the Wordfence Dashboard, but not the WordPress Dashboard. However, I’m filing a feature request for the ability to adjust the update notifications in the WordPress Dashboard widget as well.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
