Possible to make shortcodes run in byline content?

    When the same question arose for my project, I worked around it by creating a custom post type (generator below) called Homepage Tiles with a CMB2 custom meta box (generator below) for the content. In the byline template area, I used the meta key tag: %meta:META_KEY%. This worked, and it was amazing until the update from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2. I haven’t figured out how to fix it yet. I had to upload an old version of the plugin until I can figure it out.
