Hi, I have some pages, I want a custom menu on, not a list, not a dropdown, but exactly like what the main header menu looks like or similar. I hide the header in the page settings, I am also using wp visual composer .. I tried html and other things but no luck, lots of problems I use the visual composer free starter theme

    thanks in advance

    Hi @obertscloud,

Sorry I didn’t get an email notification when you posted this and just noticed it.

While you could use CSS to make the list created by Menu In Post look like a regular navigation menu, there’s going to be a better option soon.

WordPress 5.9, arriving on January 25th, includes the new Navigation Block, which you can insert into a page or post. It will be less work than using Menu In Post, and won’t require an extra plugin. It also includes a setting to collapse the menu if required by the dimensions of the user’s device.

I’ve tested the Navigation Block both with a Block Theme and with a non-block theme, and it works well. I’m not sure if Visual Composer is compatible with it yet, but you can give it a try.

If that doesn’t work out, you can set the CSS of a Menu In Post list-style menu’s li elements to inline-block and get an inline list.

I haven’t heard back from you, so I’m going to mark this one as resolved. Let me know if you have additional questions.
