Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to exclude or tweets from showing up in the list?

Below is our shortcode we are using, and we are showing all tweets with modgirlmktg, and mandymodgirl. Our tweets also happen to show up in here, is there the ability to ignore ours? Or possibly a future update? Thanks for any info

    [rotatingtweets search=’modgirlmktg mandymodgirl’ tweet_count=’30’ show_media=’1′ timeout=’4000′]

    Try something like:

    [rotatingtweets search='modgirlmktg mandymodgirl -from:modgirlmktg -from:mandymodgirl' tweet_count='30' show_media='1' timeout='4000']

Great, thank you for the quick response. I will give this a shot.

It looks like when adding the -from:modgirlmktg -from:mandymodgirl to the shortcode, it does happen to remove the tweets, but it also looks like it stops scrolling through to the other tweets.

The problem is that the API only allows you to a really short time period for searches (normally 7 days) – and only one Tweet is showing up for the period in question.

Rotating Tweets does use caching to increase this period over time (by keeping older tweets) – but if the kind of tweets you’re looking for are fairly infrequent then you tend not to see many to begin with. There’s no real solution to this unfortunately – apart from patience.

A workaround is to use favourites to capture all the references to you that you like – but I can see that both the accounts in question are already using their favourites list fairly actively!
