Possible to have thumbnails on Image Grid, but Fullscreen in Lightbox?

Sorry but it’s not possible, that’s how it works for now, we get images with sizes from elementor and lightbox is expanding associated images from the grid itself and displays them as full screen slider

On top, you can see a Gallery from a different plugin, it shows the pictures as thumbnail size (with low quality), but when you click on them, they show up in full size.

Whilst underneath I am using the Royal Addons gallery, also set the pictures to thumbnail size with low quality, but when you click on them, they still show up in this small quality. So this option is quite useless.

As your colleague already said, it seems like this is not possible, but I really hope this can be implemented in the future since most of the gallery add-ons have this ability to open the original media file in the lightbox when clicking on the thumbnail. Even the elementor basic gallery does it that way. So a click on the thumbnail kind of works like a link to the original file.

And I think there are some Lightbox settings as well for Royal Addons, it says “You can change Lightbox Popup styling options globally. Navigate to Dashboard > Royal Addons > Settings.”. But I can’t seem to find that.
