When a field is blank; For example “description” and you have set a field delimiter: “,” then it doesn’t delimit the field at all, so for products that have no description all the fields all move 1 field to the left, making the whole feed useless.

If you have product variations, then it adds the delimiter in some cases for empty descriptions fields ..

Also, categories are set to “||” + “Category name” so all categories look like this in the feed: ||CAT1, ||CAT2. Edit: Used “Category (not used for mapping)” and now the categories are correct. Can only assume they do this if you have products with more than one category, so that you can separate them?

    Hi @ingarb ,

I confirm this issue and raised it with our developers but please keep in mind that we won’t be able to provide any ETAs here.

As a temporary solution, use the rules and filter to check if the content is null/empty and give it a value. If you’d like to keep the field empty just add space(spacebar):Screenshot by Lightshot (prnt.sc)

This will make the CSV follow the format accordingly

Hi, Jeff. Thank you – after I wrote this post I also purchased the Elite version and have another issue I sent in via Email support on monday. Hopefully you can help me with that as well ??

Came here to report this issue too and I can let you know it must have been introduced fairly recently because I have saved CSV files which have a blank column for empty fields eg description.
