    Take a look at your index.php file. At the top, it has a php function with the comment “//do not remove this.”
    put that before your doctype and html tags on your static page. You might need to edit the path to the file, if it’s outside the wp directory, but other than that, it should work.

    i did that, but i have a problem with it.
    all the fields come out correctly except the actual post body. it just prints the first letter of every post.
    anyone know why?

    You could probably also access recent posts via RSS aggregation… have to think about having a recent posts lookup for the rss feed, but that shouldn’t be too hard.
