From the comments section here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXZSWsUZ2TY&t=1s), I saw that double opt-in cannot be disabled and the only way around that is if we enabled adding everyone as subscribers by default.

Is it possible to disable double opt-in for certain emails? For example, order cancellation and order failed emails should be sent regardless of whether the user is a subscriber or not. Enabling double opt-in would mean that users have to subscribe just to know whether their order has been cancelled or not, which does not make much sense.

Any way to implement this? Thanks!

  • Hello @spiderman7894,

It isn’t possible to disable double opt-in for certain emails. If you add a subscriber as pending then the double opt-in email will be sent.

Regarding order cancellation and order failed emails, if you are using Woocommerce or EDD then you can send emails directly from these plugins for order cancellation or failed.

FluentCRM is mainly used for sending marketing emails to subscribed contacts.

    Thank you.

Hi @tahmidulkarim, your website says that the Pro version supports Direct Emailing (https://i.imgur.com/rm0vnnt.png). I believe this means being able to Directly Email customers when their order fails?

Where can I read more about this feature on your documentation? Would like to know how it works.

    Hi @spiderman7894,

Direct Email is a feature using which you can manually send an email to the contact. If you have the Pro version installed then on the customer profile page, you will see an option to send an email to the contact directly from the contacts profile in FluentCRM.

    Thank you.

@tahmidulkarim does it also allow us to send attachments in the direct emails to users?
