Possible to create text area input in Dictation?

Hi … I have been using the Dictation module with my students. The dictation is usually one long sentence or two short sentences. The students are complaining that they can’t see their full response because the student entry is all in one line. I agree and think the dictation would be better for a text area input box with wrapping. Is it possible to modify the plugin for that? Or is a change like this being contemplated?
