• Pretty much what the title says – is it possible to create a company intranet and “append” it to the existing customer-facing website? And ensure that only staff members can access the intranet?

  • Hello andreweckheart,

    Greetings of the day!

Thanks for writing to us. We are more than happy to assist you.

In order to your concern about Possible to create intranet on existing, customer-facing website

It means if you already have a WordPress website and it’s publically accessible but if you want to make your site as a private site which can be accessed only for your staff so this can be possible with our plugin All in one intranet.

All-In-One Intranet gives you everything you need in one plugin to lock down your site and start building your intranet.

    Features:

Privacy – one checkbox to make your entire site private to anyone not logged in. It also displays warnings if any core WordPress settings are currently allowing unauthorized users to register.

Login Redirect – your staff are logging in to read information as well as write it, so WordPress’ default of logging users into their profile page is unhelpful. Set any site URL as their new landing page.

Auto Logout – set a time interval for inactivity, after which users will be automatically logged out, protecting your sensitive company information.

    Good morning,

Thanks for the response! Just to clarify, is it possible to create a private intranet ‘section’ on the existing website which only staff can access, while having the rest of the website public and open?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello andreweckheart,

    Greetings of the day!

Thanks for revert back to us.

In order to your concern, I would like to inform you our plugin all in one intranet make the whole site as the private site so if you install and active this plugin your whole site work as the private site so no one can access without login.

If you are asking like create a private intranet ‘section’ on the existing website which only staff can access while having the rest of the website public and open and this is on a single site I regret to inform you, unfortunately, this functionality is not available in our plugin.

    I hope this helps you.

    Thanks & Regards
