Possible to add Random order feature?

    Love your plugin. Works great. I wanted the order of the slideshow to be random so in vegas_shortcode.php after the line:

    $image = explode(“,”, $images);

    I added:

    $doshuffle = shuffle($image);

    Would be nice if you could add that as an option. Suspect others would find it nice as well. Also wondering if you could add the opacity setting for the overlay?

    I hadn’t thought of that! I’m currently really busy with other project but when I get some time I’d be glad to add these. Thanks for your input Dave! I’m marking this as resolved since it’s not really an open issue but rather a feature request which I’ll hopefully get to relatively soon.

    Also if you like the plugin, I really appreciate it when people rate it. It makes my day! ??

    Nothing yet, sorry. I just haven’t been able to find any time to work on it lately…

    I’d love to be able to set the order to random and am following this thread. Thanks for the great plugin!

    Alright guys, I’ve heard you and I have added a way to set your slideshows to show in a random order. It’s still in the works but you should see an update here in the next week, possible sooner, that’ll include this feature.

    Alright guys, I just released version 2.1 which includes the random attribute. All you have to do to make your slides randomize is add random=”yes” to your shortcode.

    For example:

    [vegas id=73 fade=4000 delay=5000 arrows=no autoplay=yes poster=yes random=yes]
