Hi – i’m just getting used to Elementor – and i want to setup a new version of an existing page that lists ratings for albums. The page has literally thousands of ratings (it’s basically a huge list), and it looks like the standard way of using this widget in Elementor is to add each one, one at a time.
This obviously isn’t practical for what i need – so is it possible to create the page in html code rather than using the GUI? The existing, old style page is here:

    Really hope it’s possible!

  • I suppose you could add a star widget the normal way, and then view source of the page to grab the HTML that is generated, then use that as your HTML template for all the rest. Not sure if it would work honestly.

That’s an interesting suggestion. i’d hoped that switching to the WordPress editor would reveal the HTML of the Elementor widgets, but this only seems to work sometimes – and not in this case. i’ll give that a go…

Well – it was a nice idea, but it doesn’t work at all! ??

Oh no, it’s a bad idea to switch from Elementor to the WordPress editor (unless you want to mess up all your formatting). Just don’t do that.

Sorry, I figured it was a long shot, but worth a try. I don’t know of any other way that would work.
