    Hello,

My host has just reinstalled a back up of my website as i had issues with a redirection put on to a random website.

I am anxious there may be malware or other issues happening with my website and they said I suggested contact Sucuri “to assess your site for vulnerabilities and help prevent this from happening in the future.”

I had issues with my sucuri plugin being able to scan my website in the last week properly with this error message coming up on my dashboard “SUCURI: SiteCheck error: Unable to properly scan your site. Host not found”

5 days ago i was on this forum and i was able to resubmit the “wp-content/uploads/sucuri/sucuri-sitecheck.php ” in the data storage which seemed to rectify the problem but it is happening again today.

Could you please let me know how i can check my site for vulnerabilities and prevent happening again.

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

Next time, just visit this website [1] then scroll all the way to the bottom, there you will find a text that says “Force a Re-scan to clear the cache”. Click the link to force Sucuri to flush the cached malware report, it will immediately start a fresh scan.

If you want to reset the cache in the Sucuri WordPress plugin as well, please follow the steps that I gave you in the other post [2].

Each report is cached for at least 48 hours by Sucuri SiteCheck, and 24 hours by the Sucuri WordPress plugin, so if you want a fresh scan you have to either wait that amount of time, or follow the steps that I explained you above.

Marking as resolved, let me know if you need more information.
