Possible jQuery issue with windows losing focus

  • I have been using some WordPress themes made by elegantthemes.com

    A peculiarity with the themes is that if I have multiple browser windows open, with an ElegantThemes theme page being in focus, clicking on any of the menu items will result in the Elegantthemes page losing focus and another open window gains focus. I have made a brief screencast demonstrating this.

    I do not know what is causing this and the developer is not acknowledging the issue so I am posting this here in the hopes that someone may be able to discern what might be going on.
