Possible issue with wp-config

    In the last few days my site has the same error twice: Cannot establish connection to database. My webhost fixed it but said it appeared the wp-config file wasn’t loading properly. In looking at my plugins, they said it was possible that somehow Updraft Pus might cause the restoration of the wp-config.php file, which might cause the issue to occur again.

    I have just been using Updraft Plus for normal scheduled backup.The plugin is up to date. Have not tried to restore a backup.

    Is it possible that there could be some kind of conflict with Updraft?

    Hi,

    UpdraftPlus does not change anything with your wp-config.php file.

    You can ask your admin/host to check on the PHP error. They should be able to find the exact cause of the issue.
