Possible easy photo import

Hi, and thanks for a great plugin!

In it current state I can’t use it, so I have a few suggestions that would make it useable:

1. Photo import
In my local geneaology program, I attatch photos both to people, sources and events. When I export in Gedcom, the photos gets exported to a folder, and a relative link to them is included in the gedcom.

The easiest way to include them in the gedcom import would be to upload the pictures via ftp to a specified folder, and then run the import. Then roots persona could either import them to the wordpress media database, or “hotlink” them from the uploaded folder.

Would this be possible? Is it on the roadmap?

2. Adjustable privacy settings
As of now, living people are either fully visible or fully private. How about something in between? Other programs list people as “Living” when they are living, but still allow showing ancestors, decendats etc. If any of them are living, the names will not be displayed, they will be showed as “Living” too.

Is this on the roadmap?
