Possible Conflicts with Caching

  • When I apply a watermark to an image, I see the watermark is applied in the dashboard. But the website doesn’t display the watermarked version, even after I clear cache in both the host and WP Rocket.

    When I open the image URL directly, I also don’t see the watermark. But if I add a variable to the end of the URL, I do. (I.e., https://path/to/image.jpg?123), I will see the watermark. Which makes me suspect a caching issue.

    Any idea what I might have wrong? I’ve tried with Filter srcset and Cache Busting both on and off, but those settings don’t appear to be the issue.

  • Facing the same issue. It doesn’t work at all when you have cache enabled. Unfortunately, I’m moving to another plugin.

    Can you please pass the link to the website you have a problem with?

    This may be a problem with the CDN, if the images are sent to the CDN, they may be sent without a watermark.
