It seems after updating this problem started (however, we haven’t been able to successfully solve it by rolling back to the previous version either – it only gets worse). Everything was working fine and customers were able to purchase single products and subscription products. Now, there is no way to purchase subscription products. The PayPal buttons are grayed out. If you go to https://affirmativecouch.com/product/annual-membership/ and add that product to the cart and proceed to checkout, you’ll see it. If you go to a single product, such as https://affirmativecouch.com/course/polyunsure-after-polysecure/ and add that to the cart (make sure to REMOVE the subscription product), you’ll see the PayPal buttons as expected.

We’ve already sunk hours into this troubleshooting everything we could on our end. Tried a default theme, that didn’t fix it. Turned plugins off/on, no conflicts there.

Would appreciate some help here since right now, our client can’t sell the subscription product because of this.

    Hello @jvmd

If you go to?https://affirmativecouch.com/product/annual-membership/?and add that product to the cart and proceed to checkout, you’ll see it. If you go to a single product, such as?https://affirmativecouch.com/course/polyunsure-after-polysecure/?and add that to the cart (make sure to REMOVE the subscription product), you’ll see the PayPal buttons as expected.

It would be really helpful if you could provide steps to recreate the problem, as I’m a bit confused.

I assume the problem is related to how PayPal Subscriptions work with your setup. Please note that PayPal Subscriptions do not support mixed carts. This means that if a subscription product is added to the cart along with any other products, the PayPal button on the checkout page will be grayed out. This behavior is an intended limitation of how PayPal Subscriptions operate.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind regards,
    Krystian

Just wanted to update this thread for any one else. I had reached out to the Woocommerce support and they replied back that on any subscription products, there’s a box that has to be checked to “connect to Pay Pal” (under the “General” tab). I honestly do not remember seeing this before and all products previously worked fine, so I’m guessing this was something new.
