    Hi:

I have found recently that when I have this plugin activated I can not convert reusable blocks back to regular blocks. I tried doing it and it was not working, but deactivating the Genesis Blocks plugin allowed that function to work again. **I am not running the Genesis Blocks Pro on this site, but even if I activate that the function mentioned above still does not work.

    I am running the following:

    Genesis Blocks 1.2.1
    Genesis Sample Theme
    Wordpress 5.6.1

    Thanks for the assistance.

  • I have seen this before with reusable blocks but can’t get it to happen on my end right now.

I’m using WP 5.6.1 and Genesis Blocks 5.6.1 (tried both free and pro) but for theme is Infinity Pro and I just did a fresh attempt on three sites. I can’t get the issue to happen now.

I’m curious, are you able to test this on a fresh install? What if a day/week/month goes by… any change?

I’m a Genesis user, not support BTW.

    Hi:

Thanks for your input. I actually did some more testing last night and I did try it on another site running Authority Pro. It worked fine on the other site, and oddly enough when I try to do traditional plugin troubleshooting (turn them all off, and then back on one by one and test) I can not replicate the issue or associate it with a potential plugin conflict.

Ugh….I hate those issues because I don’t want something like this happening to a client.

Thanks again…right now I can’t narrow down the problem but I am keeping an eye on it when/if it happens again.

Hey @masselyn and @stinkykong –?this is a known bug in Gutenberg right now. It’s being tracked over here: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/26421
