    Hello,

I have this plugin installed on my WordPress site, along with Elementor, a page builder plugin.

I was using this plugin to insert my Google AdSense code into the header, however, when I enable the snippet that contains it in the Header Footer Code Manager plugin, the editor in Elementor loads slowly or not at all. When I disable the snippet, the Elementor editor loads normally. Is this an issue with this plugin or with Elementor, and if it is an issue with this plugin, how do I go about resolving the issue?

    Thank you for your assistance.

Hello @guildmagazine – We took a look into this and we do not think it is a plugin conflict. Also, we have not received any similar tickets.

Please try creating a new test snippet –

    <script>console.log(“Testing HFCM”);</script>

and please let us know if you face the same problem.

    Thank you,
    Jay

    Hi,

I created a new test snippet and activated it as you suggested, and then when I try to edit a post in Elementor, it wouldn’t load. For certain pages, it would load correctly, but not for all pages.

What should I do to resolve this issue so I can use this plugin with Elementor?

Thank you again for your assistance.

Hello @guildmagazine – We tested this on our end, and we were unable to replicate this. We added multiple snippets & we were able to create & edit multiple pages with Elementor. Therefore we are inclined to think this is a plugin/theme conflict on your end which might be interfering with the HFCM plugin and with Elementor.

Please try creating a couple of new pages/posts & editing them with the HFCM snippet turned ON. If it works correctly for the new posts and pages, then it might just be an issue with the particular older pages/posts that aren’t editable when the HFCM snippet is on. Please try duplicating those particular pages/posts & try editing the copy/duplicate.

If that does not work you will have to test for theme or plugin conflicts:

After exhausting all other forms of debugging it might be best to check for plugin or theme conflicts. ?Plugin or theme conflicts can cause our product to function unexpectedly or not at all, which is why testing for this conflict is very important.
    ?
?We recommend that you perform this test on your?staging site?and that you?backup your site. ?If you do not have a staging site then you might not be able to perform this test as deactivating plugins or your theme will greatly impact the look and functionality of your site.

Before you perform this test please make sure you have the latest version of our?product,?WordPress?and?PHP.

    1. Deactivate all other?plugins on your site besides our?plugin
    2. Test to see if the plugins features work as you would expect. ?If they do work then you have a plugin?conflict. ?You should now activate each plugin on your site one by one until our plugin’s features do not work. ?This will help you determine what plugin exactly is causing the conflict.
    3. If our product still is not functioning properly, then you can try to?deactivate your theme to see if there is a theme conflict. ?This is a last resort and?should only be done if you have a staging site or your site has not?gone live yet. ?If our product works after deactivating your theme then you have a theme?conflicts, but if our product still does not work then it appears that our?product has a bug.
    4. If you have completed all of these tests and our product does not function properly with a default WordPress theme like twenty seventeen and all plugins deactivated, then it seems that our product has a bug and we will continue to work with you to solve this issue.

    Hope this helps,
    Thank you,
