Possible conflict with Page Builder by SiteOrigin

  • We use both Responsive Lightbox & Gallery and Page Builder by SiteOrigin on many of our websites.

    Page Builder normally shows as a tab in the page/post editor, giving the options of Visual, Text and Page Builder mode.

    On WordPress 5.3, with Responsive Lightbox & Gallery 2.2.1 and Page Builder by SiteOrigin 2.10.13 enabled, the Page Builder tab in the editing environment does not show. Additionally, attempting to Update the document
    in Visual or Text mode does not work.

    Deactivating Responsive Lightbox & Gallery 2.2.1 returns Page Builder by SiteOrigin 2.10.13 to its normal state.

    This test was conducted on two sites. On one, all plugins except for the two in question had been deactivated. On the second, only the Responsive Lightbox & Gallery 2.2.1 was deactivated, resulting in functionality restored for Page Builder by SiteOrigin 2.10.13.
