Possible bug with recursive lock – everything went public
-
Some scary thing happend – my post got public access in this scenario :
Current settings:
Lock recursive is ON, (the recommended setting YES) means any post who gets sorted into a restricted category, get automatic restricted to that category access.Well:
-
1 Creating a new subcategory, place it under a restricted category
2 Add a post to the new subcategory . Test the restriction, works fine.
3 Go and edit the description of that new subcategory (Not quick edit)
4 After save, go front end and restriction is lost. (It says other in backend)I tested this in a few installs – all the same, the access is open after edit the subcat descriptions. To mention, I do have very similar setups for all tests, but all under twentytwelve base theme. For example, some post types are sharing the wp default (same) categories. I Dont now if that confuses this plugin.
ANYONE else experiance this ?
