• This is my first WP bug so before I raise a ticket I wanted to check what others thought about this. Plus the Bug Reporting procedure suggests discussing a potential bug before reporting it.

I have noticed in IE11 that when you change the Discussion Settings -> Avatar Display -> Show Avatars to False the user name in the admin bar wraps onto two lines breaking the confines of the admin bar.

    For Example:
If you have your “Display Name Publicly As” set to Forename and Surname then the admin bar becomes:
    Howdy, Forename
    Surname

If you have your “Display Name Publicly As” to Forname then the admin bar becomes:
    Howdy,
    Forname

This only appears to be in IE it doesn’t happen in FF and I have tested this on multiple installations of WP (all 3.8.1) with different themes and on different platforms (Linux & Windows).

Is anyone else seeing this behaviour and is it worth reporting?

    Thanks
