    Hi,

I’m trying to add a new event using the admin backend of my site. The event location is the same as one previously saved. So, I’m using the “… or start typing to search a previously created location” feature.

After a few seconds, the location loads correctly – in a little box underneath. But I can’t click on this. As soon as I move the cursor to the details, they disappear.

I’ve tried Firefox, IE, and Opera – all latest versions. I can’t get this feature to work in any of them. (With IE the details don’t disappear so quickly, but I still can’t get the feature to work.)

(I can create a new location (a duplicate), but obviously this causes problems.)

    Please can you help?

    Many thanks,

    Mathew

  • Hi,

that’s exactly the same issue i’m experiencing.

    Thanks for any help

Quick update: i resolved by disabling the animated dropdown and using a simple dropdown list

(admin > general settings > use dropdown menu?)

the downside is that you loose the capability to add new location when inserting a new event, but in my case i can cope with that

    hope that helps!

    Thanks, that helps a lot. It’s a good work-around!

This is working for me (tested on FF)

Chances are you both have another plugin and/or your theme creating this conflict, to figure out which one try temporarily disabling other plugins and/or using the default WP theme.
