    Hi,
Great plugin – a nice simple way to include Facebook Comments on a WordPress site.

I’m using it by inserting <?php echo do_shortcode('[fbcomments]'); ?> in place of the standard WordPress comments function and only on the single.php template however, the javascript for showing Facebook comments is also being loaded on the page.php template even though there’s no code for comments (either Facebook Comments or standard WordPress comments). All other page templates seem to be unaffected.

Ideally, it should only be loading on pages that contain the shortcode. Not sure if this is a bug or not but thought it was worth mentioning.

If you need any more info, just let me know.

    Thanks,
    Jack

  • We have left this in sitewide as trying to control this leads to more issues with people. Here, its best to disable the SDK calls and insert this into your single.php file too if you want to keep consistency.
