Possible bug about subscribers and WP users

  • Hi,

    There is a possible bug or glitch about how subscribers and WP users are managed.

    When I delete a subscriber which is also a WP user from Alo EasyMail list, I can’t get back that user using the really nice functionality to import subscribers from WP users list.

    If I create a new WP user, all is fine and I can use this functionality to import he new user to the subscriber list.

    Hi francois, thanks for the report.
    If I understand well: after you delete a subscriber that is also WP user you cannot subscribe him/her again.
    Please can you specify your steps? Maybe you deleted the subscriber using the “Delete subscriber & add to list of unsubscribed” (the trash can button with red x): in this case you cannot add/import this subscriber inside backend. The deleted subscriber can subscribe again only by subscription page/widget in blog.
    In this case it’s not a bug, but a way to avoid that admins can accidentally subscribe again people that already unsubcribed.
