    Hi,
    I am using the free version of this great plugin.
    There was the possibility for the user to reopen the consent-banner at any time by clicking a small half hidden button.
    This button is gone now on all my installations and I cannot find to re-enable it.
    Was this feature removed?

    Hi @rainerknappe,

    This feature is still there, the button should be activated by default after finishing the Wizard and when the Cookie Banner has been enabled.

    If you share an URL to such a website, we can check for the reason why it might not appear in your case.

    now I’m truly baffled – yesterday, the button was not visible on any of my installations, but today it’s back again. Maybe it was an issue with a browser setting.

    Can you still tell me where exactly I can find the toggle to turn the feature on and off as I don′t see it?

    Hi @rainerknappe,

    You can change the display options of the button under Complianz -> Cookie Banner -> General, by changing the setting “Manage consent display options”. “Hide everywhere” will disable the button.

    Note that you might have the option “Respect Do Not Track settings in browsers” enabled in the plugin, located under Wizard > General > Security & Consent.

    Meaning that if the plugin detects a Do Not Track signal from the browser (which browsers such as Firefox have enabled by default), the plugin will automatically assume all your cookie preferences to be “denied”, and doesn’t display a banner (or the Manage Consent button) as a result.

    Disabling that option in Complianz, or disabling the “Send a Do Not Track” option in your browser, should cause the banner & the button to appear.
