Would be possible to add an option to remove entirely the inline styling?

I usually adopt the approach to style plugins extending existing classes via CSS.

To override the inline styling forces to use !important and limits the flexibility of CSS.

Yes, I’ll add that to the next release.

It’s going to take me a few days to add this in. I already have the back-end working correctly. The front-end code (written by me) isn’t that flexible, so it’ll require a lot of re-work. Hopefully, by Friday evening I’ll have this in for you.

@iliasbartolini version 3.0.5 allows you to disable styling using a toggle switch.

    Hey!

Am using Version 3.0.9 and the toggle to remove styles is working. Only the wrong way round for my feeling.

The label of the switch is “Remove Styles”
If I toogle the switch to 0/disabled/left the styles are not applied.
If I toggle the switch to 1/enabled/right the styles are applied.

I would expect the toggle to work the other way round or to change the label to “Overwrite styles”.

    What do you think?

I looked deeper into the “Remove Styles” toggle. If I set it to true the styles from the block CSS file take over the styling of elements, breaking my styling.

I expect the styling of my theme to be used not a fallback from the block. As long as the block uses “common” HTML tags the theme should provide styling for it or the author left it to the browser.

    Looking forward to your thoughts.

    Greetings
