possibility to change password for user missing

    For some users the possibility to change the passord in the user section is no longer available. These are users who have tried to change there password through the “lost password” option. But they did not succeed to do so. The option to generate a password is no longer available an also de button to send a update request. How can i change this so the password can be changed again throug the user settings?

  • The field is not hidden at all in the WordPress standard, regardless of the conditions. However, plugins can influence the visibility. Are you using plugins that relate to users? Then deactivate them as a test to see if the view changes as a result. If you’re not sure which one could be having an impact, deactivate all plugins and then activate them individually until you’ve found the culprit.

    Thanks i have found the culprit. Password Policy & Complexity Requirements was the one. If you check the box “activate this policy”. The problem occurs.
