I was wondering how this plugin would be supported since it’s relatively new and I want to ensure it continues to live on. From https://maxicharts.com/product/maxicharts-support/, it appears the primary monetary avenue is via paid priority support (a nice option) and I didn’t really see any other avenue. I also saw the description on this page mention open source, and that had me thinking.

What’s the possibility that this plugin and/or its add-ons being added to GitHub? I can see the community helping provide bug fixes, improvements, etc. via that avenue as well as help garner a community & take some of the burden of development off of your shoulders. As an aside, it does help to have the GitHub link in your WP.org plugin’s description as that, too, can help gain adoption of the plugin itself as it helps potential users see that there’s a potential community providing further development for the plugin.

Thanks for the great plugin & add-ons!

Thanks again @kzeni for your relevant comment.
Yes we have two sources of money priority support and also regular demands we have for specific developments, and if it is not a lot of money, it sill validates that a (probably small) market exists ??
Yes you are right we should put it on GitHub, and we will.
We are actually looking for people to help, and are totally open to share the money if some developer would like to help us answering clients demands.
    Can you ? ??
    Cheers

    That sounds great!

As far as my involvement… I look forward to helping here and there, but I do have other things which may take priority so I can’t really commit to anything right now. ??

    Ok @kzeni, i understand totally.
If you know someone that would be interested in leading the dev and get all the money it generates during, let’s say… 6 month, please tell us! ??
    cheers
