    Is there a straight way to align overlay text vertically? I cannot move the text to an arbitrary position, can I?

    Hey @janciriack,

    there is a vertical align option in gutenslider, you can change the valignment on the block toolbar which is either located at the very top, or directly over the gutenslider block, depending on your editor settings.

    The horizontal alignment can often be changed on the block you use. E.g. in Paragraph or heading blocks. If you need to pick an arbitrary position, you should use custom css and absolute positioning.
