Positioning of “Optional Excerpt” input box

    Could anyone tell me if there is a way to move the Optional Excerpt input box in the Write Post panel. I would like to have it appear right below the Post Title input box, or at least above the Publish button.

    Does anyone have any ideas about this?

    Can someone point me to another thread if there is one? I’ve done a search but haven’t come up with anything.
