Positioning Ad

I just installed adsense and want to know how to place the adds under the bold categories to the right of the posts.

Also, as I am new to adsense, I naturally have a few questions. Is there a limit to the number of adds you can use and do they change frequently or do I have to continually paste ad code into the site?
