position title, date, post in different locations

Hello I am not the greatest php coder but I am working on Twenty Eleven wordpress child theme and would like to know how I can change the positions of the title, the date and the post in the loop. I would like to keep everything working in the loop, but I would like to have the option to move and treat them as separate boxes. Ideally I would like to put them all on the same horizontal line rather than above or below each other.
