position of horizontal navmenu for pages under header

  • I’ve made a horizontal menu for static pages under the header but the menu hugs the left of the wrapper. I can’t get it into the center where I want it.

    The menu is in a div, id = navmenu ul. I’ve tried with css, navmenu ul
    text-align center, then tried margin-left, and nothing happens. Anybody any ideas what I have missed?

    solved it! I should have made just a div called navmenu first. I did this and put text align center and it’s fine.
