Portrait photos uploading as thumbails

  • when uploading images to photography management the landscape images load fine but all the portrait images are only loading as thumbnails.

    I have already:
    – checked that the file sizes are correct before uploading
    – turned off all plugins and themes and tried the photography management plugin again with no change

    Running firefox browser 61.0.1 (64 bit)
    ubuntu 16.04 LTS
