Portrait and landscape images in the same gallery slider at screen height – help
-
Hi there,
I hope somebody can help me as I am about to go insane!!!I have installed a theme which uses WPBakery page builder and Edge themes EDGE PORTFOLIO.
I am finding that the process of creating a portfolio is a challenge as the documentation is not sufficient to explain which aspects control which features. Is anybody familiar with EDGE PORTFOLIO enough for me to ask specific questions about it?
The portfolio I have edited came installed with the demo, and it had all landscape images. The problem is, if I upload a portrait image, the image gets the bottom cropped off. Effective;y cropping the portrait into a landscape.Secondly, when I try to simply insert a gallery slider from WPBakery page builder to simplify the process for now I hit the problem that I cannot seem to show portrait and landscape images on the same slider without the portrait images falling off the bottom of the screen. The portrait image shows in full but the bottom half has to be scrooled down to.
It seems like a simple thing I am trying to achieve but I have spent longer trying to do this than I have on building the entire website.
I have also tried the same in revolution slider. Same issue.
To sum up.
All I want is a gallery of images, sliding across the screen.
I want to show landscape images, which fill the laptop screen.
An portrait images which fill the height of the screen. Obviously leaving a blank space at each side.I have found hundreds of topics on the subject and yet not found anyone who seems to have found a solution.
Thanks in advance for any help.
