• A newbie here. Trying to figure out why a portion of my sidebar disappears after clicking on the archive or search form. Seems like everything under the Links image is gone, but it’s all there on the main page & about pages.
    Please help if anyone can.

    Here’s my blog: https://www.m1nna.com

    Thanks a bunch!

  • Without even touching your site, I get 67 errors.

If you clean those errors up first, you probably find your sidebar issue disappears.

i don’t understand how i’m supposed to clean it up. why is there errors saying that i didn’t close tags when i did? for ex:

    *************************

Error Line 281 column 83: end tag for “img” omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified.

    …ent/themes/default/images/other.jpg”>

You may have neglected to close an element, or perhaps you meant to “self-close” an element, that is, ending it with “/>” instead of “>”.
    ***********************

sorry if i just don’t get it, but again, i am new at this. i don’t even know where to begin to fix it because some of the incorrect code was generated by the default template.

if someone will just tell me how much it would cost to hire someone to fix this for me, i’d rather just go that route. it is a headache trying to understand this stuff.
