portfolios not transferring from wordpress.com to www.remarpro.com

    Am a super newbie but was able to create a site on wordpress.com. Just transferred it to www.remarpro.com. All my pages transferred but portfolios did not. In fact, “portfolios” don’t even appear in the www.remarpro.com admin menu.

    Any ideas? Was interested in using the portfolios so I could use tags. Most info remains static so wasn’t so interested in Posts.

    I’m not sure if it’s a straight-across match, but the Jetpack plugin includes a ‘Custom Content Types’ module for adding portfolios (and a corresponding portfolio menu item in admin). You may also find that Jetpack has other modules useful for filling in for some other .com things you may miss.

    Thank you! Was able to install portfolios on my .org! Now on to transferring over the old portfolios.
