    Hi Rara Themes.
I would like to create my portfolio post a little richer, adding text, gallery and so on using the block editor from WordPress. I want that when a user click on an item on the home page is redirected to the portfolio post and here I have several items like gallery, text etc.

At the moment, I can only create a post with a single image and some text. Every additional image I add is not displayed. There is a way to do that or there is a specific requirement for the image size?

    Thanks

  • Hello @cerozart,

Can you please send me the screenshot of how have you added the content on the portfolio?

Because you should be able to add the Block on the portfolio edit page.

Please make sure to deactivate the plugin other than recommended just to check the issue.

If you are still having an issue, please let us know.

    Thank you.

@rarathemesupport Thanks for the support. I don’t know how to attach a screenshot here. I upload them in imgur on

All the blocks can be added successfully, but for all the blocks that have an image (like for example Gallery or text + image) cannot be visualized correctly in the web page. (see screenshot).

    I deactivated all the plugins.

    Hello @cerozart,

I have tried adding the Gallery block on my local machine and this all worked fine.

    Check here.

Maybe this is something to do with the plugin issue? Especially the plugin that deals with image optimization/lazy load.

Anyway, is the gallery still added on the portfolio link that you have sent?

    Thank you.

@rarathemesupport Thanks for your support. I think I solved. The problem was related to the HTTPS/SSL mixed media warning. The image of the gallery were loaded over a http url while the site is over https.

Why the warning is raised only on the gallery or the image+text block is unclear to me, while the post image and one of the image in the gallery are the same (so same url).
The only explanation I have is that the post with the image was created before I switched the whole website to https, but I am not sure.

    Hello @cerozart,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Yes, maybe you have added the image before moving to HTTPS so the image URL remained the same with HTTP.

To fix the issue, you need to reupload the image.

    Hope that was clear.

If you are having any further issues, please let us know.

    Thank you.
