Portfolio Parent not changing when Update pressed

  • Hi,

    I am trying to change the parent of a portfolio “3D Character Designs” to another portfolio “3D Imaging Portfolios”. When I change the parent in the Edit Portfolio page then click update then nothing happens. I refresh the browser page and it still has no parent. Here is my process (I’ve recorded the screen):

    I’m using the WordPress 4.61 and I think it was the same with 4.6. I’m using the Scalia theme which is up to date with themes. I have previously managed to make portfolios have parents but its not working at the moment.

    Hi geoffh

    I think the portfolio post type page is updated by your theme (Scalia) as it doesn’t look like a native post type editing screen. Have you contacted them for support
